This is a vintage Haeger USA Pottery planter, specifically a Mid-Century Modern (MCM) "Peasant/Farm Girl with Geese" design. Haeger Potteries, originally a brickyard in Dundee, Illinois, began producing artware in 1914. The company's exhibit at the Century of Progress Exposition in Chicago in 1934 included a working ceramic factory where souvenir pottery was made. In June 2016, Haeger Potteries closed after 145 years in business.
