This is a fantastic Red Wing Pottery Grand Piano Planter. The lid is removable. If in place, only the top front of less than 2" inches is exposed. The piano is approximately 11" at its longest point. The front of the piano is approximately 8-3/4" across, and it is about 4-3/4" high. There are three legs, and a support pedestal centered at the front. I can think of so many uses, other than as a planter, for this piano. But, my favorite is just leaving it unadorned for everyone to gawk. This piece is Mid Century magic!

The M means that it is a Charles Murphy design.
