2018 Voyageurs National Park Quarter

The obverse (heads) side of the coin features an updated bust of George Washington, returning to a design similar to the original Washington quarter first struck in 1932.

The reverse features a common loon, Minnesota's state bird, swimming in the waters of Voyageurs National Park, with a rock cliff and forest in the background.

This quarter is the third release of 2018 in the America the Beautiful Quarters Program, which honors national parks and historic sites across the United States.

Voyageurs National Park is Minnesota's only national park, located on the US-Canadian border, and is known for its interconnected waterways.
